In this episode, we visit Conduit Gallery and speak with Leticia Gomez about her exhibition, Strange Days, Old Times, on view through January 5, 2013.

On the eve of her exhibition opening (and just as she was finishing her tape installation, In Memory), we spoke with Leticia Gomez about several of the works on view. Her drawings spark your imagination. What is happening? What is the story of these people and creatures? Where are they? Here, Leticia begins to answer these questions. Of course, there is no one answer. And we get the feeling what she tells us is only the tip of the iceberg.
For more information and images of her work, check out her website, leticiaernestinagomez.com. In this episode, she mentions the time-lapse video filmed of the installation, In Memory. You can see that video on vimeo here. The video was edited by Dave Koen.
We want to thank Conduit Gallery for allowing us to film in the gallery.
We also want to thank Valley House Gallery and Sculpture Garden for letting us film in the garden.

I always look forward to our episodes — I would like to see more local artists interviewed. Keep up the great work!
