For a special series, Art This Week spent time in Houston at the Texas Contemporary art fair. We interviewed several of the galleries based in Mexico City that came to the fair as a part of the fair’s project, The Other Mexico.
In part 1 of our series, our interviewer, Estíbaliz García, speaks with guest curator, Leslie Moody Castro, about the project, The Other Mexico. The Texas Contemporary is now over (October 1-4, 2015), but you can find more information on the fair here.
We also spoke with founder of Casa Maauad, Anuar Maauad about their residency program and exhibition space.
