Last week, we visited the Nasher Sculpture Center to hear the exciting announcement celebrating their 10th anniversary….the exhibition called, Nasher Xchange. Consisting of 10 works, by 10 artists at 10 different sites throughout Dallas, the exhibition will run from October 19, 2013-February 16, 2014. Here we speak with Nasher Director, Jeremy Strick, about the announcement and the exhibition.
In addition, the Nasher produced a video containing interviews with several of the artists and information on many of them. We were able to include this video here.
Among the artists picked for the exhibition are local, national and international artists…
Lara Almarcegui – Rotterdam, Netherlands
Good/Bad Art Collective – Denton, Texas
Rachel Harrison – New York City, New York
Alfredo Jaar – New York City, New York
Liz Larner – Los Angeles, California
Charles Long – Los Angeles, California
Rick Lowe – Houston, Texas
Vicki Meek – Dallas, Texas
Ruben Ochoa – Los Angeles, California
Ugo Rondinone – New York City, New York/Switzerland
Thanks to the Nasher and Jeremy Strick. We are looking forward to what will be a great exhibition.
