Art This Week-At The Nasher Sculpture Center
Ken Price Sculpture: A Retrospective-Stephanie Barron Interview-Episode 169-February 21, 2013

In this episode, we visit The Nasher Sculpture Center and speak with Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s (LACMA) Senior Curator Stephanie Barron about the exhibition, Ken Price Sculpture: A Retrospective, now on view. Here, Stephanie, curator of the exhibition, tells us about the artist, his work and the history of the exhibition. On display are works from every period of his life. Sadly, Price died in early 2012 before the exhibition opened at the LACMA. But, with the assistance of his friend, the architect, Frank Gehry, he was able to work up until the time of his death and was integral in helping design the exhibition. Thanks to Stephanie for speaking with us and giving us insight into the life and work of the great sculptor.
