From the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston website-
“HOME—So Different, So Appealing is an exhibition showcasing works by nearly 40 U.S. Latino and Latin American artists from the late 1950s to the present who use the universal concept of “home” as a lens through which to view socioeconomic and political changes in the Americas over the past seven decades.”
Panel Participants included featured artists, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Grupo Mondongo, Daniel Joseph Martinez, Amalia Mesa-Bains and the curators of the exhibition. The panel was moderated by Mari Carmen Ramírez, the Wortham Curator of Latin American Art, and director, International Center for the Arts of the Americas at the MFAH and Chon Noriega, professor, UCLA department of film, television, and digital media, and director, UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center.

Thanks to the curators and the artists for allowing us to film the talk. Thanks also to the MFAH’s staff for helping with production of this video.
